Use stable for field installs

For a normal installation, use the immutable release tag:

  | sudo bash

Do not copy an unreleased main command into field documentation unless you intentionally want the development channel.

FRP version policy

The project does not automatically install the newest upstream FRP. The upstream binary is pinned, tested, and validated before adoption. show upstream is informational. Current pinned FRP:

0.70.1

Platform status

The stable product scope is Linux/systemd. Windows and macOS automation remain non-stable development targets and should not be presented as stable-supported in user documentation until the repository’s release state says otherwise.
